Business Situation  

RESICAP has been facing ongoing challenges in moving and integrating data and information from various systems and partners. Different systems and vendors' unique requirements and circumstances have made data migration a complex task. RESICAP has experimented with numerous solutions, including Talend and Boomi, to address these challenges but has not been entirely satisfied with their cost and capabilities.

RESICAP recently underwent a large-scale re-implementation of HubSpot, which required extensive data movement and preparation for reporting purposes. The company sought a data management and cleansing solution to ensure data accuracy and streamline reporting in Snowflake. Additionally, RESICAP aimed to reduce reliance on manual coding and repetitive tasks, enabling their development team to focus on more critical business issues.

The organization wanted a platform that could shift development away from their IT team and simplify tasks like lifting and shifting files into S3 or putting JSON payloads into S3 buckets. In the past, these tasks would require setting up a lambda function in AWS and connecting it to an API gateway.

The data coming from various sources needed to be cleansed, transformed, and loaded into their data warehouse (Snowflake) to facilitate accurate and reliable reporting.
